Registered Sex or Violent Offenders

In the interest of preventing harm to students and staff, no Registered Sex Offender, Sexually Violent Predator or Offender Against Children is permitted on School Corporation property at any time unless required by law or with written authorization from the Superintendent or the Superintendent’s designee. 

It shall be the responsibility of the individual to determine whether this policy applies to the individual and to assure that no violations are committed. 

Thus, the Board authorizes the Superintendent or the Superintendent’s designee to develop and maintain  administrative guidelines governing Registered Sex Offender access to School Corporation property and participation in School Corporation activities.
