Fall Band Concerts October 5

A message from WLJSHS Bands

The Fall Band Concerts are this coming Sunday, October 5 in the auditorium.

The first concert at 2:00 pm will feature the 7th Grade Band and the high school Symphonic Band.
The second concert at 3:30 pm will feature the 8th Grade Band and the high school Wind Ensemble.

Our theme for the fall concert is "Cities and Places", so most of our selections are about or allude to cities and locations in the real world, or perhaps just include a reference in the title.

We appreciate the support, thanks!

College Application Week is part of College GO! And is a national initiative of the American College Application Campaign (ACAC). Many Indiana universities join in the celebration by taking away their college application fees for a week or longer so that students can apply for free.

The community is welcome to purchase a private concert at their home, or this year, may also purchase/sponsor an individual song at one of the public sites.

March-A-Thon is on Saturday, September 20 this year. If you're interested in purchasing a concert/song or just want to know more about the event please visit https://wlbands.com/marchathon/

Our day will begin with the first public performance at the Jr/Sr High around 8:45 am, with other public sites including University Farms Park, Lommel Park, Brokerage, and Silver Dipper (Sagamore location). We will also be hosting a "Dine and Donate" event with Mad Mushroom (next door to Silver Dipper) to support the band program.
